Who will take home the hardware this year?
(awards to be presented at our annual conference in Orlando, Feb 10-12, 2012)

For those of you who attended our Sylectus Conference in February, 2011, you know that it culminated in our sixth annual Excellence Awards. During the awards ceremonies, we recognized companies who achieved outstanding results during calendar year 2010.

Since those awards were handed out 11 months ago, we know several companies have "stepped up" their internal processes to try and win a spot on the podium at our upcoming conference.

At our conference in 2012 we will recognize the companies who have worked hard throughout 2011 to earn their spot on the winner’s podium. 2011 has been a great year for many of the Sylectus subscribers, and all the “best” companies managed to grow and prosper.
The lists below are the “top 10 finalists” in alphabetical order.

AlliancePro Company of the Year – Fastest Billing Cycle

This award goes to the AlliancePro company who had the fastest Billing turnaround for the first 11 months (January to November) of 2011. The company must be on AlliancePro for the entire calendar year of 2011 and performed at least 2,000 trips during the year. This is defined as the average difference (measured in days) between when the trip was COMPLETED to when the Invoice was PRINTED. The faster invoicing is completed, the sooner a company can collect their money and better manage their cash flow. This award truly recognizes excellence in the billing department.

The top ten finalists for the 2011 award (in alphabetical order) are:

ACTIVE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS, Belleville, MI ALL-STATE EXPRESS, Kernersville, NC BARRETT DIRECTLINE DELIVERY SERVICES, Bentonville, AR FRATE INC., Erlanger, KY MACTON EXPRESS LTD, Trenton, ON METRO EXPRESS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, Maryland Heights, MO PIVAL EXPEDITE, Cambridge, ON SPECIALTY DELIVERY & LOGISTICS, INC, Charlotte, NC T & K NATIONWIDE TRUCKING, New Lenox, IL TYME-IT TRANSPORTATION INC., Louisville, KY
AlliancePro Company of the Year – E-mail Automation Efficiency

The winning company must be on AlliancePro since January of 2011 and performed at least 1,200 trips during that timeframe. We calculate this by the number of automatic Dispatch, Arrive Shipper, LOADED, Arrive Consignee and EMPTY messages emailed to customers divided by the total number of these “trip event” notification records created and then weight this number by the "number of loads that had order contact records created". If you run "G180 - Level of Automation", it can give you an idea of your individual performance.
