Officials in Ohio and Arizona have announced road closings to allow for construction work.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said full closures on Interstate 75 in southwest Ohio will occur overnight tonight through Tuesday, and Wednesday if necessary.

They will be just north of Interstate 275, near Crescentville Road some 20 miles north of Cincinnati.

The closures will begin at midnight with all lanes open at 5 a.m. EDT the following day.

Police will help with traffic, and arrow boards and signs will be alert motorists.

Weather conditions could change the work plans.

In Arizona, transportation officials are giving advance notice of a planned overnight closure of a 21-mile stretch of Interstate 10's westbound lanes in southeastern Arizona later this month.

The Department of Transportation says closure of westbound I-10 between State Route 83 east of Tucson and State Route 90 west of Benson will result in a 67-mile detour for Tucson-bound travelers.

The closure is scheduled from 9 p.m. March 22 to 5 a.m. March 23 for replacement of a bridge at Davidson Canyon.

ADOT says travelers should expect up to two hours of additional travel time and should consider avoiding that stretch of I-10 during that time.

The planned work includes lifting large concrete girders off truck beds and then installing them.

Another overnight closure for is planned in April.
