* TIMING... THROUGH NOON MDT TUESDAY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL THIS EVENING INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
* SNOW ACCUMULATION... TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES.
* WINDS... WEST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH. STRONGER WINDS EXPECTED AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 10000 FEET... ESPECIALLY NEAR THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
* VISIBILITY... DROPPING TO LESS THEN 1 MILE AT TIMES IN MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS AND AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW.
* IMPACTS... EXPECT ICY AND SNOW-PACKED ROAD CONDITIONS OVER VAIL AND MONARCH PASSES.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND/OR BLOWING SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
