Trucking Solutions Group Conference Call May 4th...

FMCSA Administrator Anne Ferro will join us on May 4, 2011. The call will take place at 3 p.m. EST. The phone number to call is (712) 432-0075 and the call ID# is 550718.

There is no specific subject matter to be discussed. Administrator Ferro will give us a brief description of her job duties and then she will entertain questions from our group members.

We had a very successful call with Anne today with over 163 people on the call and this does not include duplicates of people who dropped off the call and called back in.

This was our first open call to the public and we were thrilled with the participation.

Anne was on the call for an hour and discussed her role in FMCSA which we found enlightening. We felt that she listened and took notes of the discussion and was pleased to hear directly from drivers.

Some of our discussions were about EOBR's, new driver training at the big companies, the cross border program as well as a few other topics.

After Anne left the call we spent another hour fielding questions from drivers who were on the call. Over 70 drivers stayed on the call the second hours to listen and to ask questions of our group.

Our group will start opening more of our calls to other drivers. Many of our calls are with manufactures and engineers of products. These calls will be posted on the facebook page as well as our website.
