Thanksgiving 6 AM on comes a wonderfull singing of our National Anthum. Who done it? But it was goose bump raising, driving out of Dallas, sun still a long way before cresting over the horizon sky pink, orange not yet yellow ground fog being split on both sides of the highway only by the highway.

Sure gave me more than enough to be thankfull for.

Thank you Rusty nice job.

Than the next morning pulling out of Vicksburg MS this was almost as good as the day before just no dinner like the one before to look forward to. Same time etc..

Now after the Anthum or is it Anthium? He asks listeners to call in ask what Rock Song brings back a good memory?

There I am driving early, very early in MS, and the very first request is from a guy wanting to hear Molly Hatchet and you guessed it MISSISSIPPI QUEEN..... What a song to jam thru on a beautiful fall/winter morning in Mississippi. It was a real smile putter onner. Plus the speedo went up to far, just started wondering how I was gona explaine to the trooper on how I was enjoying his State Song and jammin along. Thought he could of bought it.

Anyone else ever had this kinda of expierence?

That is exactly why I love my shift of driving starting at 2:00 in the morning. When the sun is first coming up on another wonderful day. In certain parts of the country the scenery is so amazing I just turn off the radio so as not to miss anything, and once again I thank god for such a great job.

I agree this is a beautiful country and we have been blessed to have found this job where my wife and I get paid to be together and explore the good ole USA together. After reading this post we can't wait to get another load and see what we get to experience this week. Hey guess what? We get to expedite this week!

God bless our Military and Vets.

Jamin to the music, Mountian did a great version of that song. But you needed to be a little on the drunk side to truely enjoy it. So it might not be a good driving song.

I have noticed that if I get to hearing some real good rock and roll w/o cruise control in the on position my speed will increase.
