Just in from the weather service......
A very cold windy storm followed by arctic-like Canadian high pressure will sweep southward into Montana, Wyoming and Colorado Friday and Saturday.
Heavy snow and gusty winds will accompany the storm, especially across Montana and Wyoming.
Highs Friday will be in the 20s across most of Montana and northern Wyoming, some 30 to 40 degrees below average.
By Saturday morning, the snow will ending but lows will be reminiscent of December and January across the interior Northwest. Plenty of daily record lows will be set this weekend as temperatures bottom out anywhere from just below zero to the mid teens in Montana and Wyoming.
