Big...but thin and the battery last a long time ...but then again, the phone is smarter then me and i am not using it nearly to its potential yet...and the back gets a bit warm because of the battery size..my son got me a "hard case cover" for it so that helps the heat issue...but so far i like it.....

Minnesota recently amended their statute (https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/?id=169.71) to allow GPS to be mounted or located near the bottommost portion of the windshield, camera and other feedback devices just above or just below the rear view mirror, toll transponders, and inspection stickers and other types of stickers when the stickers are required by law.

Cool! If I add a rear view mirror to the windshield, more legal room can be created for other devices!

Ive mounted my Phone cradle and GPS Mount on the dash, with the GPS Lowered down its an easy glance without really looking away from the road, Phone cradle and GPS Mount both are resting on Foam blocks to keep the road shocks down and it works nicely...

I removed the bean bag part of my bean bag gps mount. I used the bean bag part as a template to mark on my dash where the screw holes were then I screwed the gps mount directly to the dash, so the dash replaces the bean bag. The gps blocks my view of the back of my registration sticker. Technically, I can still see the top of my registration above the gps. On another day, I'll drill a hole so the cord slips out of sight too.

just above or just below the rear view mirror, toll transponders, and inspection stickers .

Since my van doesn't have a rear view mirror, I keep my gps right on that spot... maybe they think it's the mirror... :D

Right now, the only things stuck to my windshield are (a) a city sticker for Carol Stream, right lower corner (b) a sticker from the mechanic, upper left corner, and (c) the tollway transponder, mounted just to the left of the rear-view mirror mount. The GPS unit is mounted to a beanbag, that allows it to be either on the dashboard or on the shelf on the doghouse.

Lower driver's side corner: 1 GPS, 2 PA inspection stickers (safety and emissions) and a PA weight class sticker;
Upper corner on same side: 1 oil change sticker, 1 small calendar;
Upper middle: EZPass transponder.
None of these are in my line of sight and all are outside the critical area (where the wipers sweep).
However, one item is in my line of sight and it means that everything else will come off: an 18-inch crack :(
It was a dime-sized star way up near the top, there for over a year. One hot night and it turned into the huge crack just described. Sigh....
