This freakin' Blackberry is driving me crazy. Surfing on it is actual torture. I had a couple Treos, which I loved, and an iPhone, which I hated, and now this...
So I've been to Verizon and T-mo, scoping out their plans. Sure, Verizon has the best coverage, but they apparently think their minutes are gold-plated or something. T-mo has the largest 4G network and lower rates.
I had been leaning towards a Droid X; love the big screen. But a T-mo, I saw the Windows phone. Generally, I hate Windows and dumped it from my laptop. But the Windows phone and interface look pretty classy. I just wonder if it's as hostile to privacy as their computer OS.
Has anybody tried the Windows phone? Has anyone had both T-mo and Verizon and can comment intelligently? Has anyone had both the Droid X and a Windows phone? Looking for any comments. Don't know which to get. Want to get something to handle my routine websurfing and use that as a smartphone/PDA and then get the cheapest phone I can for a second line to use as a business phone. Anybody gone that route?
