After being on the road almost since September 28 (2 days at home for thanksgiving ) I plan to take a week off from Christmas to New Year's

We will be home sometime next week till after the first of the year. A couple of years we stayed out over Christmas and it was miserable for us so we made the decision to stay out over Thanksgiving unless close to home or a relative and go home for Christmas. This has worked out well for us.

I have a 2 year old. Wouldn't miss Christmas for all the gold in California.

Since starting, have been out for 16 weeks with one week home to insulate van. Got enough money set aside for van payments, so spending time at home with the wife for Christmas. After New Year, plan on staying out for three months at a time, then taking a week off every month that has 5 weeks in them. Hmmm, what to do over these chilly days in Florida, play golf, kayak, or swim with the manatees, problems, problems, and more problems.

I'll be in-service until early PM on the 24th, then up in Northern Michigan visiting my in-laws. Going to try and be back on the board 29-31st just in case, but I doubt I'll get more than a local SE Michigan run, if anything.
