Certainly a place that could use some improvement. On the flip side as mentioned, they do have the freight. So there is that.

It's been a problem since at least 2006. I've been gone from them for 4 years, so I don't know what it's like now, but I imagine it's the same, more or less. They know it's a problem. They even created a rewards system of Olympic-style medals, Gold, Silver and Bronze, and if you achieved Gold Medal status your phone calls would be answered as a priority. Silver and your calls would be answered, but after the Gold calls. Bronze and your calls would be answered, probably. If you didn't medal, don't even bother calling.Tie the phone lines up creating pressure at the home office end until they realize the problem and correct it.
Last time I spoke with them they told me to call at 7 am. That is when it is the slowest for them. I would call a few minutes before 7 because of all the prompts you have to go through.On hold with IRS, 47m so far and I don't actually want to talk to them.
