Cargo Van Will a Wet wreckless in 2017 keep me from becoming an expiditer

Hi everyone! Question: I'm very motivated right now to get into ideally starting an LLC as a van operator and purchasing my own sprinter van for cargo hauling, specifically expediting. My only worries are a wet wreckless I had gotten in california about 5 years ago and a speeding ticket in like 2015 or 14. Otherwise I have a clean record. I was thinking of starting this buisness in Florida or California as I have residency in both. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions to make this ambition come true?

Unless it's on a cdl record all of those should be off your points. Its dui or it's like that would block you because of insurance.

My only advice would be avoid blue California like the plague it is. Same for other blue locales. Florida is far more business friendly. Ohio/Indiana is far more centralized for most of the major companies signing on independent contractors.

No it was a personal car I was driving at the time. Didn't crash into anything or run any red lights/stop signs, was just driving a little wonky.

East of the Mississippi river is where 80% of loads are Florida is not a good area to base out of neither is southern texas.

In the 11 years I drove I got 2 loads one going into las Vegas and one going to middle of nowhere Nevada.
