I play the guitar, but it takes up to much room in the van, so I play the harmonica sort of ,,entertain myself on the road, and its quite small, lol................

I have my guitar with me along with a Pod pedal which creates mutiple sounds such as reverb, echo, chorus to name a few.
Along with my Apple laptop I am able to lay down recorded
tracks that I use as background when I play out.

A silent viola is comparable to an electric solid body guitar.
It may not even have a body at all, just a neck joined to
a wood shaft that has the peg attached.
It is silent because the viola, which is an acoustic instrument, needs the body to project the sound.
No body, then only a slight tone is heard from the strings.
But they usually have a headphone pre-amp built in so you can blow your eardrums out playing TSO.:D

I'm not up to Mark Wood skill yet! :D

But I do love the way he plays Stairway to Heaven with his Viper and a wah peddle.

we carry a custom Gibson SG Signature Tony Iommi and a new Roland Cube with multiple effects. Fits in the closet, sounds better than my Laney 100 watt head, and you can get one at Gibson Showcase in Nashville for about $120. Works on batteries, cig lighter or inverter, eliminates the need for multiple pedals or wahs. Gets quite loud if you open the windows, but really helps the downtime go faster. The salespeople in Nashville took a second look when we opened our guitar case and took out this ax. Tony had signed it in the very spot some 7 years ago.
