Two days before show even starts
Former expediter of Lil' Deuce Coupe fame Glen Rice will be at the truck show, showing his Kenworth bobtail in the truck beauty contest and working the recruiting booth for his present, power-only carrier, Powersource (booth 91030).
While he has a show-worthy tractor, he does not have the physical ability to compete against those who will be under their trucks with tooth brushes and on top of their trucks with polish and rags.
This is an emotional comeback event for him. He was a truck show competitor in years past. Then the Lil' Deuce Coupe was destroyed in a horrific crash and Glen and his wife Jan were severely injured, such that no one thought either one of them would drive again.
Jan no longer drives but Glen worked his way back to health good enough to drive again. The show people made room for him in the truck beauty contest so he can share his comeback story.
