Who is Coming to the Mid-America Trucking Show?

The ExpeditersOnline.com team will be at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville next week.

We will also be hosting the Expediter Experience area of the show, this is the center of all the expedite companies.

Are you planning on coming?

I've had a question about parking a D truck through the duration of MATS. This would be a good place for someone in the know to explain where, how, how much and directions from the highway to the best gate for extended stay parking.

I agree with Terry. We plan to be there with our ER-Unit and good directions (T/T friendly) would be wonderful. Also information regarding parking onsite overnite would be great. We will not be needing power but I'm sure some will. Is parking by reservation or first come first serve?

There is free parking and paid parking depending on how close you want to be. The stadium has free parking and I sure hope someone that remembers the name of the stadium will reply. A free shuttle runs back and forth so you do not need to worry about walking miles. We park nearer to the convention center and if you plan on doing that you really need to be there on Wednesday as it fills up fast. The parking is shared by Six Flags which is closed at this time and also the convention center so it is hard to miss. Follow the signs for the convention center and if you need to you can circle it more then once to get the lay of the land. Last year the fee to park on the cement was 25.00 a night and I believe the largest truck allowed in there is a D truck or a bobtail. This is where they also park the million and one campers that will be there.

Alas, another year of not going.

This year three deaths put a damper on things for me and my family, so once I get past this week, it is back out on the road to make my future car payment and spending money.

Maybe I will get to the Dallas show, isn't there a vegas show coming up?
