Hello everyone! I was wondering which software to use for keeping up with business expenses, income, outgo, and so on?
I plan to use my laptop, but don't know which program to use for business.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.:)

we used excel. if you don't know it then take a class. use the formulas. you can create a 12 month loads/expenses book for each year.

On the laptop I use Open Office. It's free and the tutorials are great.

On the IPad I use Numbers, $9.99 for spreadsheets. Also ibooks, free. You can go as far as setting it up to do your taxes.

I have to vote for Quicken as it is what I use to keep records for my shop here. When I get back into driving, it will be easy to set up, not only because of my experience with it but because you can customize all of your inputs so you have an exact record ... keeping them under assets, liabilities, expenditures, income and numerous other fields. In my humble opinion, you really cannot beat it for the price ... now I just have to figure out how to earn enough money to need to pay an accountant to count it LOL
