Well back in Laredo again and this time I go to meet Wombat (who i have met several times before) and Highway Star for the 1st time...Enjoyed the conversation and time..and Highway is even good luck..Hehad to take off because he got a load and he wasn't gone 5 mins and dispatch called with a "can you carry"..load..they are getting all the details and i am waiting them out...so i might be out of here myself..

Anyhow, being apart of the Load 1 "community" certainly lets other know where you are, if you care to share that info and it allows you to meet the some of the people face to face that if it weren't for EO, you might not have..

Thanks Highway and wombat for stopping by!!!

Well, you're welcome, but I have to say it was a bit of a disappointment. After hearing about all this great food that people get when they see you, I get nothin'. Zero point zero...

J/K... It was a pleasure to meet you guys!

Just met with ChrisGa23. We spent some time chattin about the differences between the Sprinter he drives and the CargoMax. He has a good idea for moving that fixed wall forward 2 feet. That is the long sprinter. He can have 12' of load floor and still have a fixed wall. He would have a smaller personal area, but still probably 3-1/2 ft.

The problem with the "Fixed wall" is the fan for ventilation will be "behind the wall"...tear the fixed wall down, move or mke the bunk foldable and leave the wall where it is so the fan will do what it is in there for, and make the wall so it will come down easily when the need arises...that why you still have the extra room thats nice when you dont need the bigger area....and can take the wall down and fold the bed when you need to..It really isn't that hard..I can go from 8.5 ft and 2 skids on the floor to 13 ft and room for 3 skids on the floor in 5 minutes....

Good meeting you appreciate giving me the tour of the cargomaxx you got a pretty nice set up. Yea I like the idea sliding the wall but gonna be a tight squeeze by the roof vent but I think it might fit. If it dont fit I could do go with a thinner pieces of wood/insulation and it should fit after that. Need to measure the wall like it sits and measure the available space I got that way I could have a better idea

You have a good idea. The fan is front of that next roof support you showed me...isnt it?

The fan is behind the next support by 4 inches. I took off the plastic cover surrounding the vent and I have room I think but its gonna be VERY VERY close. But bad thing is there are lot of screws poking down from the roof from the vent that will have to built around. After looking at it might just be better off to just tear the wall down 100% and build a thin wall with no thick insulation maybe use the thin reflex for a little insulation or a nice thick insulated curtain with the curtain being moveable. My goal is to have it sealed off from the freight one way or another and also make it easier to heat/cool and haul 3 skids if possible haha.
