Most people on this forum is exempt from ELDs, Great For You!

Now, for the rest of us, December 18, 2017 is crunch time.

I see videos of people installing ELDs in tractors, but I never see it in a 3/4 ton pickup. Anyone else on this forum know much about these, or could suggest a ELD brand that’s better than the others?

Information is appreciated.

I’ve played around with the KeepTruckin app. It’s really nice. They sell a device that plugs in truck and communicate with phone app via Bluetooth

Thank you. I was drawn to the keep trucking eld.

Is there a way to adjust the 5mph auto switch to driving up to 10-15? If I was in a parking lot and moved spots i could easily tap fuel too hard and exceed 5mph.

Nope!
When you see tractors crawling in traffic backups that's why they're doing it. Protecting the drive time (as much as they can anyway). Also why many hit the roadside & wait.
