I am at the Flying J in Dallas...Looking at either the BlueParrot 250 Headset or the BlueEagle II Headset...Which one is better...If I could hear the pros and cons of both it'd be greatly appreciated...Thanx :D

Ok, my oldest daughter works for Verizon and i have had a few different "ear pieces" headsets from them. When i bought the Blue Parrot B250XT and she tryed it, she calder her marketing person and asked if they could get it private branded for Verizon...she was told no....It is the best at canceling out backround noise then anything i have used...yea it is a bit expensive, but well worth it...

Just a heads up, Someone posted here some months ago about buying a bluetooth at a truckstop and tried to return it at the same brand/not location truckstop and were told those bluetooth booths are independent from the store. Probably better of going to BestBuy or you cell carriers store.
At the very least ask if you can return it to any Flying J

We have the Blue Parrot and really like it. It's the best headset we've had so far.

We have spent a fortune on headsets! Bob has a hard time hearing while the truck is running. The Blue Parrots used to have a problem with batteries but they have since solved that problem and we have two of those headsets I like. Bob needed more volume so he bought a Blue Eagle 2 and he really likes how easy he can connect to his phone. He is also happy with the battery life and also the volume.

I do not like the big headsets while I am out walking and I bought a Jawbone a year ago that I really like. I then read about the new Jawbone and how it was "SUPPOSED" to cancel out wind noise. I have that not to be true with the new one and also the battery life is horrible. The only thing really cool about the new Jawbone is it comes in awesome colors.

I do not believe we have found the perfect headset yet and we will keep looking.

add another FORMER jawbone owner..

yes it did not cancel noise or wind

after a while i could not shut it off. i had to let it run out of power and eventually returned it to radio shack for a cash card.

i could not find a comfortable lth hook for the ear and if i moved it would angle off my head and sometimes fall off.

i bought a cheapie ear piece from uscellular.

We too have tried a wide variety of bluetooth devices and we've finally settled on this one.....

This one is stereo so it works with the phones that have mp3 players and it also works with our I-pods.

Best Buy @ 99.99

Wow that is a cool looking ear piece and it multi tasks which is nice. How is it for blocking out external noise?

If you crank the volume, it'll block the noise. If you need to hear the truck while you're driving, as I do, you can do both comfortably. As for blocking background noise while on the phone, I haven't had any complaints but I can't say that I've asked for opinions either!

If you're listening to music on your phone, it will interrupt the music when the phone rings.

For the Ipod use, I like that you wear it behind your head and there's zero cords.......I hate cords.....and those goofy little things that fit inside your ears are not comfortable and they're always falling out.
