Now there's a man who's got it all together...any guy that can ryhme in a trucking forum is a man of confidence..

I guess so.. LOL.. that's me... funny thing is, put it on paper, they call it poetry, but if I put it to music, they call it rap and pay money for it...... I think I'm gettin the short end here.. LOL.

At last the words of wisdom
surely grace this page
as the warmth of generosity
makes my brain inflame

I too agree that good
feelings make my day
and the ones that want to quarrel
may look the other way

Choose to bask
in the warmest sun
and breathe a happy sigh
when the day is done

Knowing that you surely
have blessed an early spring
and blown off all the weather
that's been where we have been

So we face what faces us
in a cheery kind of way
tranquil is the moment
knowing we'll get paid

So today I chased the wind
and coaxed the grass to grow
The warmth upon my shoulders
brought a rosy tingly glow

Why do we speak in verse?
But would you rather think on this
Or watch as some just curse?

I like to think on other things
More positive and bless'd
Let's leave the negative behind
And get on with the rest.

For in this life we roll along
And strive to make a buck
Some claim it's all conspiracy
While some say it's just luck.

Either way we make the choice
On how we do respond
We hide our heads and cede defeat
Or stand up and go on.

It could be any place
Not used to this new truck yet,
With different kinds of space

Might have left it in Kentucky
Or Nebraska - I'm not sure
Been so many places
It's becoming one big blur

I'll keep my eye out for it, though
'Cause it feels out of whack
And I feel out of sorts, because
I want my sense of humor back!

Hey, the Detroit police department called and said that they recovered what is left of my sense of humor, not much left.

I get to pick it up Monday, a $100 a day charge (4 days and counting so far) plus $500 for the towing.
