Where was the Colts Defense?

I am siting here in Effingham completely dumbfounded as to where in the heck the Colts defensive playcalling went. I know it doesn't hdselp that Freeney is out but damnit they should have blitzed the whole game. WHERE WAS THE DAGGONE PRESSURE ON PHILIP RIVERS? It seems like the defense just decided not to show today. As usual Peyton had it all on his shoulders. Two ints doesn't help either, but Peyton still had 402 yds passing. I hope that Bill P. can talk coach Dungy into returning next year b/c it sure would be nice to have him kick off the season in the new house. Well there's my vent. Guess it's back to the drawing boards for the Colts. Let's see what hapens on draft day.

I know how you feel! The Hawks D showed up... cause something was bumping off Grant, and it wasn't his wife. We couldn't tackle for squat!

Because the Colts lost and the Seahawks got pounded.
Maybe Farve will win the big game...
And finally get into the Hall of Fame.
Not likely against the Pats. Well I'm rooting for anyone who plays against the Pats

I think they lost as a team. Interceptions, Marvin's fumble, sluggish D, etc. I told my friends that we needed a 10 point lead going into the 2nd half. So, I knew it was going to be rough when that didnt happen. Especially when SD was going to get the ball first.

Not as bad as the Pitt game 2 years ago. But, they just seemed a little rusty. The bye week isnt always a good thing.

I hope Eli can work some magic. He has had a rough career, so far.

As far as the Colts 08 season...If I see these 2 things happen, I will scream real loud.

1. Last regular season game is gimmie like the Titan game this year. They need to end the season with a game they are playing to win. Momentum is key.

2. Get a bye week in the playoffs. Resting is good. But, after looking at the 05 and 07 seasons where they got the bye week...its more like rusted than rested.

I truly believe the Colts KARMA caught up with them for laying down for Tennessee Titans, and the fact that they were probably thinking ahead to the next week thinking they were gonna play my Patriots......they got what they deserved and they would not have had a prayer against the Patriots this Sunday.......19-0....here we go!
