I totally agree with Moot! If they told you you there's nothing within 400 of Chicago, they're telling you they have no freight. I can't see any reason for you to stay another day. If you put a carrier list on a dart board and throw a dart, you're probably going to do better.

We work for active Motor Carrier. Great company everything they tell you they will do in orientation they absolutely 100 percent do. And they will even give you tools and incite to where you need to be and noone I mean no one sits for more than 30 hours unless your on a restart. Give them a call ask for Darryl or Jim you will not be disappointed I promise you that.

I would ask how you like it but it seems by this post I already know. You drive an ES truck or do they have other fleet owners on yet? Also, how long have you been with active?

They lost Columbia office which had big chunk of their freight volume. Lots of drivers dropped, thus the ads on this site that they are hiring every unit to cover accounts in AL and SC.

Still in Chicago area, north west suburbs not far from the border of Wisconsin.

If you're looking for a company. There is one in Oak Creek Wisconsin called CDI Logistics. Talk to Chris or Edwin. Address is 190 Marquette Ave. They are really good at getting people loads. I have been with them since January and I have no complaints. We are always looking for O/O.
