saw where ooida is pushing for new rules on this subject i really hope it passes, it would require all companies to pass 100% to the owner/ops, and show exactly what the company is making on the load, im joining up and request yall do the same, hang in there, lets hope help is on the way

I can't see how that will be done in the post deregulation world of trucking. I mean most of the problems that O/Os have are contractual and many companies will not move to rewrite contracts.

If your not getting a fuel surcharge on every load then its time to put a different set of signs on the truck.Everybody that I have talked to lately is getting a surcharge and are happy with the amount.As long as fuel stays below $4.00 a gallon I'll be fine.Even get some that make up for revenue lost earlier in the year.If people would quit the companies that don't pay fuel surcharge then the companies that do will have an easier time getting it from their customers.As some companies are using this as a way to under bid their competition just to get freight.And since we can't shoot them all we can hope for is that they don't have a truck sitting near us.
