We have a pick up near New Orleans on Monday and are looking for ideas of where to stay. It must be close enough to afford a cab and have S/T parking etc. Where has anyone stayed around there?

Ok, We found a place we are going to try. It is a Clarion Hotel, in Gretna. $61 per on the CLC. Breakfast included with truck parking and a shuttle to the French Quarter. Let's hope it is at least clean. We will post a report if we survive it!!

you guys should check out the aquarium there in down town new orleans on the river.
