where have all the trucks gone to?

Just made round trip to Harrisburg, PA. On all the other trips could at least be passed by 3 - 4 vans. Also would see them in the truck stops. This time there were none out at all. Have the freight lanes changed? Or are you all parking somewhere different?

It just seems funny, Thursday night, Friday and Friday night not to see any trucks/ vans on the road, or in truck stops.

I ran I 85,I 77, and I 81.

0nly thing I saw was 18 wheelers and a few hot shot drivers.

I was in Pa all weekend, but not on the road or at a truckstop - was at my daughter's, enjoying the family I hadn't seen since Christmas. They live on top of a hill that I doubt I could get a straight truck up, but the view is killer, and if little girls blowing bubbles in the sunshine doesn't improve your mood, it's time to retire!
Best part was that it put me 120 miles closer to the delivery I made at 5am this morning! (Once in awhile, the planets all line up, or something..)
Batteries recharged, granddaughter-withdrawal soothed, I'm ready to roll now! :) :)

The most wickedness I get up to these days is moving all the utensils on the buffet from the right side to the left :p Cheri

Things sure seem to be very slow for vans. The wierd part is that it's slowest in the areas that were real good for me last year like Michigan and Ohio. Once I get out of Michigan I seem to run fairly well. I almost hate to take a load back home to Grand Rapids for fear I'll get a load to Detroit and never leave the place again. Who wants to spend forever in Detroit?

It seems like we have been really slow as well. I did remember that last year in April it was very slow but we picked up from May to December. I hope that is the way it is this year as well or we will have to think of some other way to make a living.
