There is a line in the sand, but I don't know exactly where it is. I think it zigzags, and is different for each moderator. They have a job to do, and they are only human. I've been cited a few times in the 10 years or so, since I've been posting. Par for the course I guess for as many posts that I've entered. I post mostly humor, and humor is a tricky thing. One person sees one thing, and another person sees another. I always thought a site like this should reflect what I see and hear in any truckstop. Isn't this a truckers site? It's more like cubscout camp. Sometimes I find it too squeaky clean in the posting department, and not real world. Maybe there should be a forum for grown men and women, where they can express what they wish, the way they wish. Maybe call it The Tawdry Dock, and those who wish to engage in adult banter would be able to, and those who don't wish to participate don't have to. And I don't mean any kind of sex forum. More like being able to post the photos, topics and humor that I receive in my regular email from my friends, family and co workers daily, who are both male and female, that really make me think, laugh, and join in the controversy, much more often.
I don't know if you can have a forum like that these days, as we all are so politically correct and vanilla, and governed by the fashion police, the speech police, the you offended me police, etc. Just a thought. I would find it refreshing. What ever happened to scrolling by what you personally don't like?
