When the going gets bad!

Phil,

Really?

Oh really, sorry Phil but the information you presented is wrong from my point of view. I can’t see anyone who has hired people, knows what a pain in the a** it is to do interview(s) for employees can say what you have said. Maybe it is an assumption on my part, which I do more than I like to but gut reaction to some things usually are right on.

This was not a put down, but rather a correction. I can easily put you down but I think that you are not that type of person that should be put down. Offended?

Also as for off topic stuff, let’s see… there is information.. there is replies to comments and responses to the question at hand, so going back to the question at hand is not just that easy when the question is being answered (or am I wrong?).

“I already know what experience I have. I don't need to hear about it.â€

AND

“You and he are correct in that I have never been a fleet owner. It was the "running a business with employees" that I reacted to. It remains the case that Greg does not know my business background or what I have learned from it.â€

So Phil, correct me here, I want to make sure that the correct assumptions are made so tell us what you have done to back the complaint?

If you don’t want to divulge the info (secret agent maybe?), OK then don’t complain.

On to better things...

Since we are defiantly not fleet owners and do not ever want to go there some of the questions fleet owners are asked amazes me. How is the world as a fleet owner can you handle some of these questions? Getting paid for sitting? We are in trucking you get paid when the wheels roll with a load. Wow we would be terrible owners!

It is a known fact that changing companies is expensive and I think that would be true even for drivers. Learning a new system takes time before everything gets to clicking. To change when freight is slow is ludicrous as 99% of the time the freight is slow every where. When the freight is slow is when you need to know the most about your company so you get to where the best freight is and take advantage of all of your experience!
