Moot's pic doesn't do his van justice, cause you can't see the [patent pending] MootBed, lol, and that's the most ingenious part - the rest is just 'stuff'.

PS Vinegar also makes a good hair rinse [gets rid of residue & buildup shampoo leaves] and it cleans the hard water deposits from the coffeemaker, too.

I mistakenly said I use white vinegar, I use Apple Cider Vinegar...For me it neuralizes the stomach acid...I can also use Lemon use....my mom is one of those people that uses alot of "home remedies"...and it was her that got me started on it..

Now it isn't one of the "medical remedies, but if you ever have to deal with not being able to laydown or sleep at all because your stomach feels as if it is on fire, and then have that acid roll back or come up past the esophagus into your throat, you will try anything....I did, and it works...

Now that being said, the best bet is to do the right things so you don't need it...eat right, exercise watch your "gut" and just eat as healthy as you can...yea right...:D

Luckily, I don't need to do all that, as the only time I had it was when I was pregnant, so it's history, lol. I was just wondering how something so acidic itself could neutralize acid - seems paradoxical.

I don't think it neutralizes it as much as it speeds up the recovery...the thought is that when you put more acid in your body, the body stops producing it own natural acid..and while the "fix"or recovery isn't instant, it does happen faster then if you do nothing....

I looked into it a few yrs ago and thats what i cam away with...LOL, to be honest, I didn't care why it helped, just that it did....

The biggest issue is the the reflux beats at the lining of the esophagus and can cause serious issues, like cancer...so yea, the key would be to do the right things to eliminate it....but then a whole industry would be out od business....
