We have friends that run for Forward Air who have also considering leaving the company. They have talked to us in the past many times about going into expedite and they decided it was not for them. They are used to running twice if not three times the miles we do each week and like Greg said they are used to a higher pay each week. They do not have the huge dips that we have in income. While the way we sit for extended times really appealed to them, they pretty quickly decided they did not think they could handle it week in and week out. They like knowing most of the time before they get to a terminal what their next load will be. They also make much more gross income per year then we do even with their lower rate per mile.

As the saying goes we run team loads but at a solo's miles and we find that to be very true.

The big question is can you sit for a few days waiting for a load and then sit again after you deliver the load? Can you afford the drop in gross pay for the year?

How many OTR years of Experience do you 2 have as a team ?
How fast do you drive ? (I drive 58 BTW),Slowing down might keep you with FA.
