What To Do When Things Go Wrong

BACK to the topic at hand as not to lose sight of Preachers question......

I don't let most stuff stress me out, life is too short and come on now...everyone makes mistakes....you adjust, correct, make everything ok and move on.....it is simple what we do....even tho someone seems to be trying their best to trip ya up....LOL

I have been known as the guy that you can never get down, I have to admit though things can creep up on you if your not on your guard. I am not sure if it the solitude of being on the road or missing home added to the things we experience daily out here. It can add up and take its toll.

Sometimes it can take me a few moments longer than it should to catch myself and realise my attitude isn't what it should be and I am completely focusing on the wrong things. It happened today for a bit. But, to me it was just a reminder that we are all on a journey and Jesus was the only perfect one to walk the planet. Scripture says we are being tranformed into His image, not that we are all there yet.

One thing I do know for sure is, that on average, days that I start in the Bible and spend time thinking on His Word go much better for me for dealing with the situations of life. I think my heart is just in a better place and when you think on how amazing God is, problems seem small and irrelevant. IMO

Its super easy to get stressed out here. Think about at home just goin to the local store 5 min drive atleast 1 thing will happen you dont smile about. Now a 1000+ run with all thats on your shoulders sometimes can be a lot. I like to pull over at a rest stop n skateboard to get my thoughts right.

My boyfriend, at the tender age of 48, does the same thing.

A school bus will drive by with grade schoolers; they all have their faces pressed up against the windows watching him, as if they are thinking "I wanna grow up to be THAT guy!"

I agree on the first part of your post....(you notice I split the quote) the bottom part is all you..

In the heat of the moment we can lose focus and need to get back to being balanced or call it what you will or find a way to get back to balance that suits your personal needs...We all have different ways to deal with lifes daily stresses...

I agree, there are may ways to deal with stress. If it's Zane and Jeff taking a rail at the rest area, just taking a deep breath and refocusing or however you deal with. It is important that we have a plan on how to deal with it. If we don't we could end up being grumpy all the time like Turtle! (nothin but love Turtle):p

Zane you come from the doing the MX thing and getting lots of exercise. Part of the emotional stuff you will go through is your body telling you to get off your butt and get some exercise. Your body is not use to sitting in a van all the time. I think that is probably good advice for all of us though.
