What no hurricane?

On I-59 exit 51 in Mississippi there are about 1000 FEMA trailers sitting in a field. They are lined up at attention as if they are waiting for an assignment.

One would think FEMA would clean them up and sell some of them to try to recapture their funds.

Just a thought.

Actually, they are for sale. Want one? www.gsaauctions.com Most of them are pretty well trashed and will take a few thousand dollars to make them usable again.

The ones that they are keeping for future disasters are kept in TX, WV and GA. there are a few thousand of the best ones.

In February of 2005 thousands of FEMA trailers were hauled to storage in Cumberland , MD . A large percentage of them were pulled through snow on salted roads . None of them had the salt washed from them . They should keep them for future use . Otherwise thousands more will be produced and thousands of gallons of diesel wasted hauling them to storage lots . Does anybody know if we are still paying for cold storage of ice in Maine that was trucked there from the Gulf when there was nowhere to put it there ?
