At FedEx locations you sign a handheld scanner.
My B-in-law does 700 plus pkgs most days. Can you imagine the paperwork involved ?

Yea, I guess Ground does that. Freight should at least supply you with a DR.

I remember getting something from Freight Like UPS...maybe it was a DR can't remember....

Remember I was picking up on behalf of a customer NOT doing it for Fedex....

It's rare when I pick up at an LTL terminal or air cargo and they have a shipping order with the my consignee on it. The only time that happens is when the LTL carrier was supposed to deliver it, but for one reason or another called in an expediter to finish it off. I just write up a quick BOL for my travels.

COSO - I'm sure it's trucking lingo, but I've never heard someone not Con-Way use that term. :D
