What is cheap freight??

so the general gist of the idea of cheap freight is =

It does not exist to the person running it...

The person is running it because it is their best business decision at that point in time that makes good sense to them...period

What I or anyone else thinks is irrelevant.

Everyone knows what cheap freight is, and it ain't a number. If the rate offered to you is insulting, it's cheap. If it's offered to you because you allowed yourself to be in a position to be taken advantage of, it's cheap. Never go someplace that you can't deadhead out on your own dime, or make sure that that dime gets paid up front with the load that got you there in the first place. Then when they make you an insulting offer trying to take advantage of you, you have the advantage to say no, the advantage to make that statement, the advantage that will get you a regular rate offer out of there.

That was my point in my round about way of saying....
