For those who asked, Diane and I are fine. Thank you for your interest and concern. We are living and working on the road, as we have done since 2003. While I occasionally glimpse at the Open Forum to see what's up, my posts have dropped to near zero by design.
When the recession served up less freight and more spare time, I put the time to use as
described here. When the freight picked up, my interest in this new endeavor did not fade. Now changing our behavior to accommodate the new endeavor, time is more precious; thus my decision to curtail Open Forum participation.
There was no departure announcement because I have not departed. I may still use the Open Forum to highlight an article I write, publicly ask a question or privately contact members. Some have suggested that my posting halt is due to a sabbatical or needed break from which I intend to return. That is incorrect. It is due to a new commitment to something that has nothing to do with trucking or expediting.
Diane and I are still on the road hauling freight. We enjoy visiting with expediters and talking shop as much as ever. Online, I continue to
blog almost every day. I am also active on Twitter (
view tweets here).
Again, thank your for your interest and concern. Be safe.
