I've had a stone also and I can't imagine being on the road with one. Pretty much the most miserable experience I've ever had, exceeding even a USMC induced back injury and later surgery.

I just thought this would be a good time to bring this thread back up as we are entering the cold and flu season.

One question for all tho, Does anybody keep a copy of their medical records with them? I was just thinking this would be a good idea.

I always carried my VA basic med record and a copy of my VA Id card and 3 phone numbers if I got crunched on the road and needed a hospital. Also a birthcertificate and a passport to prove who I am along the border never hurts to have that in your truck or van.

No... I just tell them that I'm a fat old man. That pretty much covers it.
