You need a van that is 10 years or newer for most and some of the top companies will not take anything older than a 2008.

Most Expediting Companies require 6 yrs. old or Newer.

I once called a company to inquire if he would sign on my 15 year old van and he yes yes but in the beginning would give me shorter runs to make sure I don't break down. You're best bet is to call and ask them. And above all go over the van very well before starting work. My van is now 21 years old and I am running it 6,000 miles a month doing mostly local work with no problems. I keep up on maintenance very well though.
