My wife and I ran with cwn for a couple of years, we were very pleased with them. We averaged 2300.00-4000.00 week. However trucking companies are like spouses you have to find the right one for you, some drivers may like a company and you don't like it. Every company has their good side and their bad side, the bottom line is all companies are the same, they all want to make money the best way they can. If in doubt give them a try but don't just give up at the first problem you have, give them at least 6 months, it usally takes about 6 monthes for you to learn a company and a company to learn you.

Thanks for the return.
Been Expediting for about six months with a shotgun company in Michigan. Too much deadhead, thought it might be when I signed on but they were so close to the house ;-)..
Unfortunately it's cost me a bundle to be home so much and my truck just gets eaten up..So-it-goes

Most of the players have recruiters with the answers. It's good to know which answers are realistic..

If deadhead is an issue for you it might be worth your time to ask as many CWN teams what there deadhead is per month. My wife and I were with them for a little over two years. If you are willing to go anywhere they request (full or empty) they'll keep you running. Our deadhead averaged approx 35%, however at that time they paid 1.39 per loaded mile to the truck and .35 cents per mile deadhead west of the Mississippi and .20 to the east. Now every load is 1.07 per loaded mile and .20 for deadhead after the first hundred. They have also increased insurance rates. As you may have already figur ed, all of these things take a bite out of your profit. good luck!
