I crossed the border into the U.S. at Port Huron 3 a.m. Saturday morning . I jumped behind a Panther cargo van and empty tanker figuring that line would go quickest . Wrong ! Panther pulled to the booth and I waited and waited then here come the blue lights and Panther gets escorted to secondary . I must have jinxed him . The last time I crossed the same thing happened to a Schneider truck 2 vehicles in front of me .

Whenever there are several lanes to choose from no matter what crossing I am at, it is gauranteed that I will choose the slowest moving lane.DD.

Boy DD I thought we had that honor!! It is almost a joke anymore how often we get in the slowest line. The worst though was when we where leaving British Columbia and after we where cleared to go I got in the wrong line to leave and we spent another hour getting X-Rayed!! That one was funny.

That is sooo funny.
Last week the same thing happened to us, get in the shortest line and you get the one customs agent that wants to be sure you aren't smuggling air...
Took us 30 min and we were 3rd inline.

Dieseldiva you are right it was me driving. I just had to put that I in there. I was trying to stick to the we but it didnt work. Bob couldnt believe it when I pulled up to that line and once in the line you cannot get out! I am glad to hear I am not the only one that has done that.

Linda, here's another one for ya. THE DREADED FUEL LINE......I sure can pickum'. This is one of the last places I want to back up so I generally stay with my pick. A while back Jim was in the passenger seat ready to fuel the truck, I picked the lane and as I got closer I began to apologize to him that I was pulling in beside.........A BULL HAULER......as he was firmly telling me to back up (I wasn't listening), I realized no, not a bull hauler..............those are PIGS!!!!! Needless to say he wasn't too happy with me that evening. LOL

You know with cattle they just stink but you do have to watch them as when they go potty sometimes it shoots a long way! I know that from experience! Pig though smell and make lots of loud noises. I could just hear Bob if I had done that! Sometimes men do not see the humor in some situations I feel! I have tried to explain that to Bob with no luck. Such as with my bad choices at the border. This is also a good one! We where in line and I just knew the guy in front of me was going to move so I released the brakes. Well pretty soon horns are blowing and Bob is yelling. I was rolling slowly backwards. I did get it stopped and I did learn a valuable lesson. If we are not moving the brakes are set.
