Weeny is scum. Doesn't matter what party. Personally, I don't trust anyone in Washington any further than I could throw my van. I no longer consider myself a dem or rep but simply an "American". It's time to forget all that crap and get down to business fixing this country.

We should have term limits for EVERY public office. If you want to come back one more term, you better dot em and cross em in your first. I think that would make a huge difference.

Oh, and IRS audits from the top down. With the same penalties for them that you or I would get. Not immunity like turbotax Timmy.

They are all scum and so are those giving this air time. There are far more important things happening to worry about a second rate congressman sending photos to his virtual mistress who is cashing in on the fame. It is neither as important to the country as what happen the other day with Bernake nor is it important to our lives while our country goes down the crapper.

Our modern-day Caligula performed the marriage rites for Weiner and his now pregnant bride. Bridey is a prized protege of Succubus (aka Mrs Caligula or the Succubus in certain circles). Bereft of decency or shame, these sick men are nothing more than mentally disturbed predators who dishonor themselves, their spouses, their families and the public trust. There is no justification for this Congressman's behavior. Anthony Weiner is unfit to serve in any governmental capacity. One shouldn't be surprised if Weiner finds himself the subject of a criminal investigation. Peel back a layer of this onion and get to the rot.

You know this is kind of odd because all of you are being played.

I mean you are all sitting here discussing the behavior of a man who has no business being a congressman in first place but the only one who should decide if he stays or goes is his constitutes while we preach about public trust, unfit to serve, deciency and so on while the more important issues at hand caused by those very issues apply to many in congress are ignored.

Let's just take one thing - Barney Frank. I look at this guy as one of the few who caused the recession we are in right now. His actions were and are still deceitful, he lied (as did his cohort Dodd) and he is truly unfit to serve the public because of his inability to be accountable. I find his Frank-Dodd reform act an abomination of which we need to examine why some in the financial world has complained not just openly but strongly that the legislation is one of the things that has been holding us back.

We can add the actions and comments of that disgusting John Murtha. NO matter how you cut it, the guy was disgusting for what he said about our troops and about the people who support them. No one seems to be too concern about this at the time, justifying it as his right to question the administration while it is as bad if not worst than anything that Wiener did.

We can also take the lack of action by congress on straighting up the mess we are in. We need serious action on the budget, which both parties dropped the ball and we are all in a sit and wait period as they decide what to pass next.

Weiner is used as fodder to get us off the idea that Obama has said pretty much we don't have a recession.

Maybe we should have another forum, we'll call it Greg's forum and he can start all of those threads containing the topics that he thinks should be discussed in place of what the news of the day is. One has to wonder just how much attention Greg's forum would garner??

Most of us here are more than aware that there are, have been, and will always be more important topics to discuss, we know how to walk and chew gum at the same time, are you not seeing those threads as well??........oh wait.....you saw those and thought they weren't worthy of discussion as well.

Well ... yeah ... let it go.

This isn't as news worthy as other things in our lives, like the economy but it is made that way for two reasons, one is the obsessive need to strike at the political opposition (Fox has run with all kinds of crap over this) and the other is the deflection of other issues we need to focus on - what is not happening in congress.

What really makes me wonder about the level of intelligences among us in this country is the comments people make over this trivial issue, many believe that lying is so bad and never happens with out elected officials they are ready to hang the guy over it while ignoring lies that have screwed all of us.

Nope not at all, it is that I give you more credit than to focus on this subject. I think the fuzzy bunny forum was an important forum by the way.

NOPE I blocked all the threads that don't include this subject. I don't see anything.

By the way the same goes for the Anthony trial, it is a sad case that we stoop to that level that we feed off a death of a child to make us as a nation feel better about our situation.

Well in the past three weeks I have met five EO members and four who either didn't know about EO, EW and that other place OR were from EW and the other place. After the EO members discovered who I was (one very smart lady who I admire actually figured it out before she got to the truck), I explained why I type so much which surprised most.

It may not be what you all think why, it surely isn't to be the member with the most characters typed.

Note to Greg: I admit being obsessed with the Anthony trial, because it's a rare opportunity to observe a genuine sociopath in real time - it's fascinating. How many murderous mothers have denied guilt through so much evidence and for so long? Ms Anthony is quite a rarity. [I hope.]
