My first taste of winter came today.
After arriving @ drop a few hours early instead of napping I played on the laptop waiting for reciver to open the doors.
Took paperwork inside and she says dock it after i get the other guy empty..All good untill I ask if their is a public rest room. Sure she says right across the street,,,
Between me and the restroom was a downhill grassy hill with a ditch @ bottom of it and it was frosty as all H*&^
Keep in mind at this time I was getting tired and never thought of it. By the third step I was slidding down on my back faster then a kid on a sled. I could feel the grass and frost blowing up into backside of my jacket.As my feet hit the ditch my legs came to a dead stop in the mud and water and rest of me kept going.Forcing my face into my right knee. I now have 2 loose teeth.
As I was gathering my thoughts I hear a little 8 or 9 year old girl ask if I was all right and do I need help.Why she was there I dont know,,maybe dropping dad off at work?? It was all I could do to save face and limp back to my truck.
Sheet goes wrong fast,,Be ready for it.Pay attention to what your doing know matter how small it seems..
And to think winter use to be so much fun...
