Way to go folks at A.R.I. sleepers!!!

We recently bought a used 2007 Kenworth T-600 with an A.R.I. 132" sleeper. As with anything used we had a handful of items in the sleeper that needed fixing or replacing. That was the easy part. The hard part was getting our schedule to match theirs for these repairs.
In Expediting its extremely hard to plan an appointment more than a day or two out. A.R.I. generally needs a few more days to schedule one in for general repairs, as they tend to stay busy on new builds, etc. So by trying not to shut down for 3-4 days we hadicapped ourselves greatly in scheduling an appointment.

We just happened to deliver a load not far from A.R.I (located Shipshewana,IN) Friday morning. We took a chance and decided to drop in on A.R I. without an appointment, hoping by chance they could at least look at our sleeper. Although they were EXTREMELY busy they did us better than just look at it. The service manager made the needed minor repairs himself (none of which were emergency repairs), plus he found that we had a factory recall and immediately put a crew to work on making the upgrades. All had been busy trying to complete other jobs they were involved in, yet they took the time to see that we left happy with their product rather than sending us down the road to make an appointment and return.

This is definately a company that wants their customers pleased that they invested in the quality sleepers that they produce. Our thanks to all at A.R.I. :)

That's the best kind of "advertising" any company could hope for. It's good to know there are still some service providers like that, and who they are, and where they're located, too - thanks.
That one paragraph is more convincing than all the commercials I've heard in a year.

We too are very pleased with our A.R.I. sleeper quality and the before-sale and after-sale support they provide.

These are small things, but they speak volumes about how they think of their customer's needs. When you go to A.R.I. for service, they provide overnight parking places with free shore power. If you need a car to get around while they are working on your truck, they'll give you one to use, also free of charge.

A not so small thing is the ease with which prospective buyers can spec their custom-built A.R.I. sleeper. Their knowledgable sales staff and instant access to up to date information enables customers to think through their sleeper needs and trade-offs in a single visit. Getting the same information from some other manufacturers was like pulling teeth in comparison.

If you want to add or omit an item from your sleeper plan, like say a one-burner stove instead of a two-burner stove, A.R.I. can tell you very quickly how your changes will affect your sleeper's weight, price and space. If you want to put your shower on one side of the truck instead of the other, that would take a little longer to draw up for you, but they will happily do it until you have the design you want.

If you are in the market for a custom sleeper, a trip to A.R.I. for a factory tour and comparison shopping is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Even if you end up buying from another manufacturer, the knowledge you gain from A.R.I. will be of value to you.

Pricing is good too. They sold us a 132" sleeper for $15,000 less than a competitor was willing to sell us a 120" sleeper for, and A.R.I. product quality is superior. The written warranty is superior too. You can check that out yourself. Lay A.R.I.'s warranty bedide others. You will see.

Not to belabor the point...well, OK, to belabor the point... another difference between A.R.I. and some (if not all) of its competitors is A.R.I. provides detailed wiring diagrams for each sleeper it builds.

Custom sleepers are complex. When you buy one, it's nice to know where the wires are and how they are configured. We were shocked to learn that some sleeper manufacturers cannot tell you much about where your sleeper wires are after you buy from them. The wiring diagram they use to build the sleeper is drawn on the sleeper walls. Once the fabric goes on, that's it, no more wiring diagram to see. Ask them for a written diagram and they have nothing to provide. You don't have to ask A.R.I. for a written diagram. It comes in the bag with the other documentation.

Some may complain that this sounds like an advertisement. It is not. No one is paying me to advertise on behalf of A.R.I. It is enthusiastic praise from a very satisfied customer.
