It is BAD tonight. This area calmed down a bit for now. Going to try to get a bit of sleep. We are NOT moving this truck till daylight. It is FAR too dangerous out here tonight.

Thanks, we will. We have our Weather Radio on.. It BEEPS REALLY LOUD when a new warning comes out. Headed for the bunk now. It was a very long hard day. High winds wear me out.
One truck in front of me ALMOST tipped over. His trailer was blown into the left lane and SOMEHOW he managed to keep it all upright. He got off at the next exit. To clean out his short without a doubt.

It has calmed down here, too, just minutes after I posted about Gretna. Kind of collapsed, the tornadic party, that is. This is the area in which I used to be a storm spotter. Good days, those.

You know the problem with bad cops? They make the other 5% look bad.
Everything has died down now. No damage to the truck this time. Leaving as soon as it's daylight.
