Walmart Parking Lots

There is web site,www.rvbookstore.com that sells for $19.95 a Walmart locator guide for all Walmarts that allow overnight parking. It also gives directions to these Walmarts. It states that from Walmart's perspective "RVers are customers and we are happy to host them them". So if a 40+ footer RV can park, a D or C or van should also be allowed.
The only areas that Walmart will not allow overnight parking are in southern AZ,CA and FL. This is due to the high percentage of RV parks in those areas that pressure the towns to pass ordinances to prohibit
overnight parking.

The only Walmart I have been run out of was in Southern California somewhere.

I spoke with a Wallmart driver the other day and he told me I may as well get used to being run out of more and more Wallmarts in the future, thanks to a few slobs that stay there with us that leave the area a total mess. I have even been runout of a couple Casino lots because of this.

I guess thats what happens with just about everything that is for free. One slob spoils it for the rest of us. Just a matter of time.:(
But that Booktip is good. I saved it for reference.

In the states that refuse parking at wal-mart, we found that Lowes and Home Depot are a good alternative. Park in the back by where they deliver. We did this many times in CA and never had a problem.
Most shopping centers have the rent-a-cops that kick you out after a couple of hours.

I have been asked in the past to leave a Walmart after delivering a rush load for them. I personally think from past expierence that its just not a pleasant stayover, unless you roll in around 4 AM.

Car alarm beep customers like hearing there horns so keep beeping, loud oversize mufflers on small cars, and the thump thump thump of stereos.

No thanks no showers just stuff to buy in there. I enjoy stopping at them well not really only out of necessity. Had my full you can try it but I can pretty well tell you, your gona experience the same. If you really need your rest your gona need pills and alot of coffee to stay awake if you get a all night run, or go in there and buy ear plugs.

I try to avoid all Shopping Center Parkng Lots if I'm the Only Expediter around. If I have to stay in one its just long enough to Nap then on to a Truck Stop.
