Visiting Nashville

While watching Nashville on TV, I thought about taking my wife there and going to the real Bluebird Cafe. She is a huge country music fan, me not so much but I do enjoy some.

Has anybody been to the Bluebird? And if so, what can we expect?

I've not been to Bluebird - but I have spent sometime downtown. Plan to spend sometime on Music Row, try to take in as many honky-tonks as you can as each one has great musicians in them. I think Nashville is a great place - it truly is the Music City.

Johnny A's on music valley drive ! Nothing better! You can spend an entire day in the Gaylord motel wondering around shopping and eating ! Wife and I lived down there for a bit!

I grew up in Tennessee and Nashville has many fun places to dine out and for entertainment, you will not be disappointed.

I dropped in Nashville this morning, so last night I went honky Tonkin' on Broadway. At 5 bucks a beer you'd think they could pay the bands instead of making them beg for tips.
