Three years active duty in U.S. Army after high school. All service stateside mostly as a radio operator. After a break in service, joined the Army National Guard, earned an RA commission from OCS at Fort Benning and served several years as a reservist Infantry lieutenant (rifle platoon leader, weapons platoon leader, rifle company executive officer) a/k/a grunt. Hua!
