Very courageous and brave

What an idiot. A CNN anchor calls the Dallas gunman very courageous and brave, if not crazy as well. What sort of idiot would call what he did very courageous and brave? Oh wait, an idiot liberal who "feels" about everyone and everything without the sense given to a donkey.

Hey, if Caitlyn Jenner can be courageous and brave for lopping off her Wee Willie Winkie, then so can Numbnuts for launching an armored vehicle attack against a police headquarters. Both required balls to pull it off.

CNN's Fredricka Whitfield issued an on-air apology today for calling the Dallas gunman 'courageous and brave'. She says she misspoke. Fair enough. Those of us who are longtime observers of Whitfield's reporting are likely to give her the benefit of the doubt. She is consistently pleasant, fair and very watchable.

If you watch the video of her saying it, it wasn't like a flag flying in the background and a stand-up-and-salute to the bravery and courageousness of it all. "Courageous and brave" was merely a synonym for "ballzy."

"It was very ballzy, if not crazy as well, to open fire on the police headquarters, and now you have this scene, this standoff."

I don't think she had anything to apologize for in the first place.

I dunno. I really don't watch CNN enough to know who she is. I watch Fox News even less. Out here in the truck when I watch TV it's usually one of the movie channels, or sports.

The words brave and courageous are usually used towards someone who has done something noble. Her comment wasn't intended to imply how noble the gunman was, just to describe that he showed a disregard for himself to carry out his dastardly deed.

"Courageous and brave" have positive connotations and no one wants to say flattering things about a gunman attempting to kill people. It's a matter of semantics. Ms. Whitfield always seems to carry herself with a pleasant dignity.

As a side note, Fredricka's dad, Mal Whitfield, was an Olympic athlete and one of the famed Tuskegee Airmen. That's an impressive pedigree. Viewers who liked her before will like her now, myself included.

Fredricka would be a nice addition to Fox News.
If she's less prone to breathless hyperbolic drama than Megyn - the Virginal Queen of The Immaculate Thighs - I say dial ol' Fredricka in for that 21:00 time-slot.

Had high hopes for that girl (Megyn) ... sadly she turned out to be JAT ...

Of course, it sounds like Fredricka be a worthy replacement for any of the other Faux News Eye-Candy Air Heads ...

On another note: Does anyone else think J. Bandaras should seriously consider breast reduction surgery ?
