DC go to youtube run a search on "vandwelling" and things like keeping cool and air conditioning and 12volt house battery wiring n such. .. Also search uinder RV living as well.. many very very good resources. Me, If I were you I think I would invest in one of the ice based coolers. and set it on a shelf over your bunk.. should only be running a/c when idle , anyway.. rest time ya got your cab cooling.
