Just watched it for the first time yesterday, and dang it was awesome! Eerie in the fact that things look like they're headed that way... complacent ppl allow the government to control them, etc.

I mentioned to my wife that when (yes, I said when) the US has a revolution, the revolutionaries will be called terrorists by the government. With control of the media, they can say what they want and drive it home 24/7.

Years ago, when the thing called the OKC bombing happened, everyone looked at Timothy McVie as a monster/murderer. I agree, but have a feeling that in time he will be a martyr during a revolution.

Your right Hawk...legislation is in place and revolutionists will be labeled terrorists and as someone said in another post committing Treason.

I see parallel worlds here, history repeating it's self.
The colonists (mostly Brits) overthru the British government.
One called it Revolution and the other treason.
And now the shoe could be on the other foot...

This is one of the top 25 movies on my list.

But I would also suggest watching Children of Men - pretty interesting.

Don't count me in for any revolution that glorifies the massacre of innocent men, women and children. I don't think that act will ever be looked at that way by rational thinking people.

That said, I have stated here before this is exactly why the second ammendment is still so important. It was put there for exactly this reason.
