This is what actually started my search for unlicensed rabbits.

Some people might think this is wasteful spending on the governments part?

Of course if the USDA collects the 90,000 dollars it might pay part of the inspectors wages

Reminds me of the $252.00 fine I got from OSHA years ago. An disgruntled ex employee called them and they did a unannounced inspection. During the summer some of the guys went out and bought fans so they could help beat the heat. The inspector (an ex GM worker) said that not only was the fan unsafe because it didn't have a three prong plug, but the fan grill had openings larger than one square inch and someone could stick their finger into the thing and have it cut off. I said that it wasn't bought by the company, we didn't authorize is use, and didn't even know it was there. Besides all of that the fan had a UL sticker which should mean it was safe. Nope even though it is considered safe to be in your home with three year olds running around its not safe for grown men.

$15,000.00 worth of fines from two young ladies from the state was later reduced to $1,000.00 after I appealed the fines. Storage of about 20 Fluorescent $750.00. Priceless.
