It should not have even been as close as it was. The Lions did try to lose it late but had built up too big a lead to accomplish that. The Bears were, for the most part, badly outplayed.
The Lions first 3 possessions resulted in three field goals. The next 3 resulted in touchdowns. The Bears did not convert a 3rd down during the entire game. They did convert two 4th downs and 2 two point conversions.

Sort of. Then again, the Bears were working hard to lose it too, they were just better at losing than the Lions were.

Looks like an Obama editing job to me!
Then again, Obama is likely a Bears fan too! He will probably issue an Executive Order tomorrow reversing the score! That would be the ONLY way the Bears would have come out on top today!
