I don't know about other Americans, but I would love to see our current government done away with & replaced with that fantasy government we have all been told about, you know the GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, & FOR THE PEOPLE. Our current government is of the rich, by the rich, & for the rich. There is no "WE THE PEOPLE", just us "we-people". We Americans are a very BRAVE & COURAGEOUS PEOPLE when it comes to fighting FOREIGN ENEMIES, however when it comes to DOMESTIC ENEMIES we continually VOTE THEM INTO OFFICE. Both party's are ENEMIES of our CONSTITUTION. DEMOCRATS blame REPUBLICANS, & REPUBLICANS blame DEMOCRATS, while those in power sit back & laugh at all us "we-people".

Just to be clear is this popped or unpopped?

The term "popcorn" duck refers to ducks that are fed in city parks etc. They become lazy. They "forget" how to find food on their own. They seek out hand outs. They readily fly into decoys, with total abandon, thinking that hand outs are available. They are the first birds killed each hunting season.

I have seen the exact same behavior in fish that are fed in marinas, and have used it to my advantage to fill my freezer.

Interesting how popcorn ducks, marina fish, and people on welfare, all exhibit exactly the same behaviors. And for the same reasons.

Shame we can't eat the people on welfare. Easy pickins.

Yup

I remember when these things were fringe theories:

Fed Reserve is not Federal
They are listening to your transmissions
NSA stood for "no such agency"
Huge data facility being constructed in Utah
Gulf of Tonkin never really happened
Sinking of The Main was not done by foreign entity
They are not purposely creating debt bubbles for transfer of wealth etc

and it goes on, and on, and on.......

What's happened here is the alternative media has placed pressure on the news outlets, forcing them into telling at least part of the truth. (not necessarily in regard to the OP) Too many people waking up now, and finding it's a shell game after all. The system is rotten to the core, and it's been going on for years. It's kinda in your face now, and their not even trying to hide it.

Grab your beverage of choice, extra butter on that popcorn, and take in the big show......because that's all it is.

Eating the people on welfare is not the answer. Besides, most of them are to fatty by government standards for food. :p

"Tough Love" IS the answer. The way to do it is wean them off the public teat. FORCE them to EARN their own way and to accept responsibility for their lives and actions. That is a MUCH better than forcing responsible people to cover the costs of others irresponsibility.

It must be done for the exact same reasons that it is illegal to feed ducks. TOO much caring creates dependence.

Nixon and crew are beginning to look like Boy Scouts compared to this administration. The biggest difference between the two is one was a crook and the other is the Messiah.
Speaking of Nixon's crew, remember former Atty Gen. John Mitchell?
On February 21, 1975, Mitchell was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury and sentenced to two and a half to eight years in prison for his role in the Watergate break-in and cover-up, which he dubbed the "White House horrors". The sentence was later reduced to one year to four years by United States district court Judge John J. Sirica...

Question: will anyone in Washington have the courage to prosecute the most incompetent and corrupt AG in the country's history - who happens to be black? One would hope so considering that minority status certainly didn't factor in trashing the first Hispanic AG, Alberto Gonzales.
Gonzales's tenure as US Attorney General was marked by controversy regarding warrantless wiretapping of US civilians and the authorization of torture. Following bipartisan calls for his removal, Gonzales resigned from the office without explanation. Democrats were particularly opposed to Gonzales for his role in the firings of several US District Attorneys which they believed had caused his office to become improperly politicized.[SUP][2]...[/SUP]
During Gonzales’ tenure, the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were accused of improperly, and perhaps illegally, using the USA PATRIOT Act to uncover personal information about U.S. citizens.[SUP][41][/SUP] The actions taken were found by the Justice Department Inspector General to be unintentional and technical in nature. There was no finding of intent to violate the rights of citizens. Through his testimony before Congress on issues ranging from the Patriot Act to U.S. Attorney firings, he commonly admitted ignorance.[SUP][42]

Here's hoping AG Holder will be held to something resembling the same standard to which former Attys Gen have been subjected in the past.[/SUP]

It will do no good to prosecute Holder without prosecuting his boss, Obama, who is behind all of the "stuff" that is going on.

In Holder's case, I'm actually all for skipping the trial and simply move to giving him a first class stoning.

He is likely stoned half the time any way.

Instead of "stoning" I was going to say "hanging," but that might come off as racist.

What I'd really like is for him to be nailed to a cross and planted on display for a few weeks just outside the fence in front of the White House Lawn, but that might be construed as having some slight racist overtones, as well.

So, I figured we'd just go ancient old school and lapidate him. True, stoning has historically been reserved for those who commit adultery, but I can make a strong case about Holder. He's married to the law, but he's f-bombed us all.

I understand what you were saying, I was just trying to laugh about the entire situation. There is little else can be done about it.

Obama is the "primary tumor" in a cancer that has spread throughout Washington. Getting rid of Holder will do nothing to improve anything as long as Obama is in office.

The congress is doing NOTHING. By nothing I don't only mean about what is going on with Holder, I mean NOTHING at all! They are happy to become a rubber stamp, to participate in the cover-ups, as long as they retain their office, pay, kick-backs etc.

The coup is about complete. About the ONLY thing left for them to do is make the announcement that our Constitution no longer exists, and the country is now under control of the government.

If we could just get rid of that Nixon guy. Boy, if we could get our man in there and replace Clinton, it would all be OK?. Man, if that Bush guy could be gone.....we'd really be in the roses?

Is it not obvious by now this person is a figure head only? He's an executive, and nothing more. The people actually running things want you tracked, traced, and labeled, one way or the other. Obama's "job" is to continue on with the dismantling of this country's sovereignty. It's a many headed dragon and you could cut off one head, only to be replaced by another. This current miscreant did not place back doors in software, personally gather info from servers, and create these spy programs; nor can he stop them.

This is a huge ship being run by a crew heck bent on dragging you into a different world, run by them. You think eliminating one person is going to turn that juggernaut around? :D

I don't think the so called president of the USA is standing around Utah breaking ground for a multi billion dollar spy facility and talking about where he'd like his computer placed, the mess hall should be located here, etc etc. Nor is he overseeing the events at the Maryland facility. He's a benefactor of these things, and nothing more. Just MHO

EVERY collection order issued to NSA comes down from the top. They respond to orders from the congress and president. Those orders come from no where else. All of them go through the Senate. All "STUFF" flows down hill.

The Congress is mute and rubber stamp anything coming down the pike. I may be wrong.....but I doubt the Pres ordered the facilities built, all by his little old self, just in case he wants to issue an order. If you want to believe the guy is ordering all of this stuff....rather than using what's in place for his own personal agenda, it's definitely your right to believe it.

I just don't. :)

Here is how it works. The president and the congress set the collection priorities. They are sent down to the Sec of Defense. That office sends them to the appropriate "group" in the agency. They are tasked with making a determination on how to collect the "targets" to meet the priorities sent by the civilian leadership.

Then there is a whole bunch of design work, bidding out to contractors etc.

It is a long, slow, drawn out process. The agency has little control over it. All monies come down from the congress.

ANY president can issue orders to change those collection priorities. That is one of the primary reasons I quit working there.

I was collecting info on drug cartels, foreign only. The order came down to use our systems to collect on US citizens believed to be involved. I quit. Even thought we were "assured" it was all legal, I did not agree.

That is why I now drive a truck instead of being retired on 50% of a GS-12 step salary.

Every second of "time" on collection systems are over booked by 100% or more. It is just not possible to "divert" resources without someone knowing it.

I would not argue those points and they are well taken. My point was this....it's a team effort and all of these agencies are involved with spying on Americans, and it took no direct order from the top to set things up. It takes a wee bit of time to plan such a facility and this has been in the works for years, thus placing it at least during the Georgie administration, not Obama.

If all these things are coming from ONE man at the top, and he's the only one calling the shots....then is it safe to say we are in a dictatorship? If we announced that very thing right now, would most be calling it a theory, a fringe tin foil hat person, a nut case perhaps? I mean to say.....we can't have it both ways.

Just for conversation, which is it? :D Like many have stated in effect; Congress is fat and happy and do whatever it takes to continue that gravy train, so they are indeed mute at this point, and not to be considered part of the process?
